Thanks for the screenshots for Thunderhead Keep. You give me hope. I guess I stopped trying becuase I was having a hard go at it and moved my character to Factions. I shall return and try it again. I have a Axe Warrior Monk any special set up for this / suggestions

Thunderhead Keep: Ok I have seen the posts where people have done this with henchies, fair enough. But the mission is painfully long somehow, and using only henchies requires a LOT of work on your part. Finding a PuG is annoying to, because everyone is always arguing over tactics. 90% of my completions for this have been guild based.

Naphui Quater: For me first time this wasnt hard (beat with henchies). But I get a LOT of guildies asking for help for this mission so I know its more difficult than it seems. My biggest peve with this mission is that the most likely place you will die is at the last part which can be extreemly frustrating.

Camp the King. That's the way to do THK with henches. If you're two players one can man the ballistas, otherwise just stay by the king, killing the enemies as they come up the stairs. If the king goes on a rampage, you follow him. For this mission you're the kings personal bodyguard. If his health starts to drop, you're not doing your job.
Target priority is: enemy casters, enemy rangers, enemy melee, and bosses always last.

Rez sig doesn't hurt, as the main problem is that you lose healing if a hench dies, due to Lina & Mhenlo battlefield-rezzing. Using the rez sig prevents Lina & Mhenlo from trying to rez & get interrupted over and over.

Arborstone, that "collapsing cathedral" or whatever is annoying as hell. But other than that, I never really had many problems with other missions, also, THK is easy to hench if you do it right, henched it every time I needed it done.

I have to say Naphui. I admit it's not too bad to beat the mission, especially since you can always kill the enemies and leave the bosses standingm then come back for them, but it's really driving me nuts trying to get Masters on the thing. The closest I got was 16 seconds away and would have had it were it not for a warrior running the wrong way and aggroing excess enemies. Still out of all the missions I've tried, this has to be one of the hardest to get masters on (except for maybe Vizunah, but that's largely because you tend to get an assasin with henchmen joining you from the local side)

Worst mission I would have to say any two from cantha, I think they are all boring and tedious, plus finding a half decent group is hard enough let alone a decent froup, so ya, any two from cantha can be my worst. I also agree that the master's times are a little too short for some of them.

Definitely Arborstone. A close one is Arborstone, so is the 3rd place - Arborstone.

Just a tip for thise having problems with Arborstone: bring a mesmer with fast cast degen. I got masters with my mesmer using a build that centered around the following skills:
Images of Remorse
Conjure Phantasm
Clumsiness
Energy Tap
Energy Drain {E}

THK and Arborstone... ugh!! Two most annoying missions in the game.

Gyala Hatchery is also a royal pain in the arse if you don't get a good group.

First one for me is Elona Reach. It's actually not very hard, and I can do it very easily now. But on my first character, a long long time ago, I was stuck there for ages. The desert is the first place where your party really needs to watch it's aggro, up until then it's a walk in the park.

Second one is Thunderhead Keep. ALL of my characters got stuck here, some of them for months because I just gave up. My only character that got past was my monk, who did it first time, the rest couldn't get a group because every group was "6/8 lf 2 monks", or when they finally did get in a group, it was a bunch of idiots. My mistake, I realise now, is that for some reason I think every mission should be done with a PUG, and I don't know why I thought that.

This week I took henchmen and did THK first time, it was very easy because henchmen follow your orders and do exactly what you say. Nobody died at all. All of my characters are now past it. The funniest thing is, the idiots who mess up the PUGs won't be any better off with henchmen, because it takes careful aggro and knowledge of the mission. So they can carry on forming groups of 6 warrior/monks and 2 monk henchmen.

So far I have not had much trouble with any of the missions. Although last night I done the Boreas Seabed mission with a bunch of people who didn't know how the spear worked.

I just couldnt educate them, they ended up charging into the Kraken Boss and die in a matter of seconds. Oh well.

My 2 most hated would have to be:

1)Nahui Quater(can never get a group unless you are monk, takes forever and people never do it right)

2)Arborstone(stupid enviroment effects)

Arborstone: I like playing casters and hate interupts

Unwaking Waters: I always seem to end up with a bad party and henchies from the other side.

I'm not even sure where that debris is coming from, the cathedral doesn't seem to have a roof! Also, there's that "I'm trapped on the other side!" thing. Never wanted to strangle Mhenlo as much as I did then...

Also, I hate Vizunah Square. KEKEKE AFFLICTED RUSH is not fun, period.

OK. I hate to be the odd one out, but I don't have any problems with Aborstone. I've done it twice, once with an MM Necro, and the other time with a spirit-spamming Rit, and I actually kinda enjoyed it. Agreed, having your skills interrupted over and over can be frustrating (especially if your skills have 45 & 60 second recharges, ala Rit), but if you time it right after a collapse for the longer cast skills, you're perfectly fine... usually.

Although, an MM isn't the best build to go in there with, as toward the end those stone golems don't leave corpses (duh). Still, it's not exactly a difficult, nor long mission. Both times I did it, I got Masters without trying. Not trying to brag, just confused at the hatred.

You're not alone, I never had problems with Arborstone. It was quick and easy I thought...
